Loomis Companies is a construction, interior design and project management company, founded in Cleveland, Ohio. Loomis Companies has over 20+ years of experience related to property management and construction. Our relationship-focused approach is demonstrated by its successful projects, spanning a variety of markets such as offices, hospitality, education, healthcare, commercial, and industrial. We can produce custom millwork and stone fabrication with our on-site facility without outsourcing our work.

Meet the Team

  • Erik Loomis

    President

    Erik serves as President of Loomis Companies. Erik’s responsibilities include leading the company’s business operations and accomplishing the goals of the developer’s business objectives. Erik’s vision and leadership provide guidance that motivates the team to search for innovative and collaborative ways to create value for clients. Erik is committed to the success of each project, displayed through his involvement in all aspects of construction management from pre-construction efforts through budget management.

  • Derek Lydic

    Director of Project Management

    Derek directs the Project Management process and every aspect of the project life cycle. From the proposal and planning to execution and delivery. While working with our Clients, Project Managers, Superintendents, and staff, Derek ensures collaborative workflow and organizational cohesiveness on every project.

  • Brad Lamb

    Project Manager

    Brad has 10+ years as a sales representative for large scale accounts and had involvement with corporate sales at IMG. Brad assists the project management team with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information to get projects done on time and within budget.

  • Glenn Edwards

    Controller

    Glenn Edwards is a Controller at Loomis Companies, where Glenn works with the accounting team from start to finish, including daily processes, establishing procedures, cash management, and preparing financials. With 30+ years of experience in the Construction and Real Estate industries, he has worked in the areas of commercial construction, commercial property management, and homebuilding.

  • Kathleen Mayer

    Executive Assistant to the Vice President

    Kathleen has a background in commercial real estate as a project manager, handling commercial build-outs, and tenant improvements. She assists the VP on a daily basis. With a wide range of experiences internally managing development projects from concept to delivery, Kat serves as the office manager and facilitates all HR functions as well as coordinates the organizational aspects of Loomis Companies. This includes handling finance coordination, contracts, and AIA payment applications.


Design Team

  • Suzi Darlin

    Sr. Interior Designer

    Suzi is the Senior Interior Designer with 30+ years of experience in the field. With her BA in Human-Environment and Design from the University of Kentucky, she has worked for several architectural firms. Suzi was involved with the The City of Cleveland Design review, Northeast Shores Development Corp. Board of Directors and HOA Board of Trustee Member and was the Director of IIDA (International Interior Design Association).

  • Tina Drdek

    Interior Designer

    Tina has spent the last five years working for Loomis Companies designing our interior spaces. She comes from a background in Commercial Design with a BA in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University. Tina unites construction and design by selecting the appropriate colors, textiles, and flooring for our spaces while also creating floor plans for contractors.

  • Alyssa Coill

    Interior Designer

    Alyssa graduated from the University of Akron with a BA in Interior Design. She comes from a background in high-end residential design. Alyssa works proficiently in AutoCAD to design spaces that meet the client’s needs. She partakes in the space planning and finishes selection processes, helping to create aesthetically pleasing yet functional spaces for the clients. She also aids in following budget guidelines to ensure client proposals are met. Design is her passion and she strives to exceed client expectations.
